How to permanently add a conditional formatting rule to Excel

I am constantly using the conditional formatting on Excel to highlight every other row in a spreadsheet by using the following formula:=MOD(ROW(),2)=0

No matter how many times I use it, I cannot memorize it, and I have to look it up. Is there a way to add this conditional formatting rule to Excel so that it is automatically available whenever I start a new spreadsheet or work on an existing one?
